Jose Antonio Martinez Climent first starts his music career in 1990, when he meets by chance the vocalist of Funeraria Vergara, a cult band well known in the world of electronic, sinister music in Spain. In 1992 they founded The Other Illustrious College of Pataphysics in Valencia, the notorious surrealist college of which he became a PhD. Throughout the years they developed a variety of activities, from rock, gothic music to theater and a surrealistic cabaret that still performing nowadays. Jose developed some other activities outside the college, such as working in a small flying circus or writing. His first poetry book was finished by 2004 and has been published recently; his second book, a diary is now under review. Professionally he works as a freelance ecologist specialized in the ecology of eagles and owls. He has produced a large legacy of papers and books on the subject, and he has worked in several scientific projects in Europe and the USA. Now he starts yet another solo project under the name of Seance noire, devoted to enjoy the dark pleasures of ambient, dark music.
